Gusti Shabia

Shabia is a Program Manager at foodagogik, where she focuses on translating foodagogik's strategic action agenda into actionable plans and ensuring their effective implementation.

With over three years of experience in NGOs and research projects, Shabia is skilled in managing programs related to research and science communication. She holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Universitas Gadjah Mada. This academic background gives her a solid foundation for understanding local complexities and big-picture development issues, which is important in strategizing programs that address these complexities. Her interests revolve around food systems and critical development topics, especially gender relations and women's roles in food systems.

When she's not working, you can find her doing yoga, reading both fiction and non-fiction, hunting for good food spots, and sharing insights on @rekampangan, her Instagram platform where she experiments with ideas on food and culture.
