foodagogik is an independent nonprofit research institute dedicated to leading Indonesia in its transformation toward more sustainable food systems. Our work lies in gathering, producing, and communicating research on the inextricable links between food-climate-health, and in promoting disruptive interventions and policies that support emerging transitions across all three domains.

Our Mission

  • We gather, produce, and communicate science that explores the intersection of food systems, environmental sustainability, and human health, and ensure that evidence base and new knowledge is contextually and culturally sensitive.

  • We forge cross-sectoral, multi-scalar, multi-stakeholder partnerships across the agrifood value chain to build consensus on and commitments to the transformative elements of more desirable food systems.

  • We connect and learn from the communities most negatively impacted by climate change and public health nutrition challenges, and put what we have gained through knowledge and synergy to improve their lives for the better.
